This escalation league is not just for fun but also a way to encourage me to build a fully painted 2,000 point list. Because I want to build a well balanced list I want to start with the full list and then work backwards for each month. I could of course start with a 500 point list and build up each month but then there’d probably be a few gaps and I probably wouldn’t have any units over 250 points.

So you can see that I’m using both troop choices from my standard list and I’ve added an extra captain which will be useful in smaller games where I can’t afford to take Lysander. Since it’s only one extra mini I thought it would be worth adding him and besides its a really cool mini. 🙂
